Police party of PS Majalta led by Dy.SP Prob. Latief Khan intercepted two trucks bearing registration number JK13C 5925 and JK22B 1016 at Battal naka, Majalta, Udhampur. During search of both trucks 07 persons (05 male, 02 female) who were found travelling towards their home by hiding themselves inside the above said trucks. All the seven persons namely
Rahila chowdhary W/O Abdul Jawahar R/O Batote,
Ab. Jawahar alongwith Mukhtar Ahmed (driver) S/O Fazal Rahman R/O Batote(truck no. Jk22 1016)*
Mohd.Hussain(driver) S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Kulgam,
Mehraj Ah. ButtS/O Sanna ullah Bhat R/O. Shopian
Abid Fayaz S/O Fyaz Ahmed R/O Shopian
Ayesha D/O Tariq Ahmed R/O Khanyar, Srinagar came from Delhi and also managed to escape from Lakhanpur Naka and also concealed their travel history in order to evade necessary quarantine process. Both the trucks were also seized and A Case FIR No. 33/2020 U/S 188/270 IPC was registered at PS Majalta.
All the 07 persons will be quarantine and further action under the above said FIR shall be initiated after quarantine period will over
